welcome
It's getting late on Sunday morning
I get up and see
Silly TV talking by itself in the living room
I slept on the sofa again
and don't remember the ending of
the late night movie
And my old lady she don't care
as I look for food in the fridge
Well, this is life
Well, this is my life
Well, this is life
To plan a weekend without you

JYPE released 2PM's first album, 1:59 PM, yesterday. I can't say it's OMFG AWESOME. But I can't say it's an epic fail, too. I'm pretty sure it isn't the latter, though, of course. Heartbeat's MV was awesome sauce, I have to say. But dude. What the heck is wrong with their outfits!? Wait, let me rephrase that. What the effing durian ice cream is wrong with their
costumes!?!?!? I mean, their Again & Again outfits are thektheh, but in Heartbeat they looked like old fashioned burglars (as quoted by someone who commented on Ellie's blog). Oh yeah and their ponytails are.... out of place .__.
But oh well. At least the rest of the MV's awesomeness made up for it (: If only Jay was in it though. Akh..
Moving on! My Heart, the intro I suppose. Taec was..... ooohohhh I was melting. And that's a good thing :D . So, Tired of Waiting, me like. Me likey lot lot. I like I Was Crazy About You, too, except for when Taec started talking in Engrish before his rap. I mean, if you write down what he said, and looked at the paper at different angles (LOL ?? ), there aren't really any grammatical errors, but. I can't decipher what he's trying to say. I
know you can speak better English than
that, Taecyeon. I mean really. You got the words right, but what the digested kimchi are you trying to say!? o-o
So, I haven't really listened to Give Me the Light. Actually, it says Gimme the Light on the tracklist, but I just had to put on my grammar police cap and changed it to Give Me the Light. Sue me. Anyway, the song didn't really grab me at first. Maybe I'll try a few more listens. Same with Back to You. Although, I really like All Night Long. I'm not an anti-autotune or something, but that song would sound much better without it =/
And the rest of the album pretty much consist of remixes of past songs =.=;
And there ya go. My first impression on 2PM's first album, without Jay. Seriously, I'm bad at commenting on these kind of stuff, so.... yeah. If you're looking for one-sentence, short and sweet reviews, here's the place.
