welcome
It's getting late on Sunday morning
I get up and see
Silly TV talking by itself in the living room
I slept on the sofa again
and don't remember the ending of
the late night movie
And my old lady she don't care
as I look for food in the fridge
Well, this is life
Well, this is my life
Well, this is life
To plan a weekend without you

oh GAWD
Because of those no-life netizens (since I go on the net a lot, I think I'm a netizen too. But I'm a netizen
with a life :D ), Park Jaebeom, leader of a popular Korean boyband 2PM, left the group and Korea, returning to his home way back in Seattle. GAAHHH. Mom.
Someone dug up a few of Jay's myspace comments (which dated back 4 friggin damn years ago) stating that "Korea is gay" and the like. This stirred up quite a lot of fuss, since Koreans are pretty prideful and patriotic, apparently. The antis and haters made a petition to
kick out send off Jay back to America. As if that's not enough, they even made a petition for Jay to commit suicide and over 3000 people signed it. Fortunately, the petition was taken down shortly after. There have been many cases of suicide among the stars in Korea in the past. I mean I can stand people hating him and whatnot, but suicide? Seriously? If Jay actually did kill himself then those who signed the petition are heartless murderers, driving people off the verge of insanity.
But another petition was created for supporting Jay and more than 6000 signed it. It was good news ohoho....
Well, Jay was really foolish for making those comments (FOUR YEARS AGO, if I may repeat myself) without careful consideration with his words, but he's changed now. Netizens later on found out about his other comments about him actually liking Korea more. And (according to some reports I read) they actually regretted. They said they were sending off a talented star and some more statements sprung up. But there are still many who hates him.
I mean DUUUUDE!! Four years ago! He was in his trainee years in JYP. He must've been really stressed, being a Korean American and suddenly move to somewhere you know nothing about, especially when you look like the people, when you
are the people, but you couldn't even speak the language right or get used to the culture. I doubt Jay actually meant anything bad when he said Korea is gay and whack and all that. He even apologized about the statement, and it's still not enough for the (no-life and hating) netizens? You can't expect Jay to get in a time machine, travel back to 2005 and delete or edit his comments. GOSHHH. =_=
I understand why they hated him because of his comments. I mean, I would be pretty offended too if anyone said something like that about my country. But these people are really unforgiving. I would be really pissed if Jay said things like that just recently, but 4 years ago is crazy. Digging up comments from four years ago --four years-- proves that there actually
are netizens with no life. At all.
I'm not supporting Jay and ranting this as a fan. I'm saying all this as a pretty ticked off person. Dang... I wish Jay would come back. But it's his decision, right? Let him breathe a little. And no, I'm not hating or blaming the whole of Korea. Sheesh.
